Every business, small or large needs a website and a domain name. With billions of websites and rapidly growing, good domain names are either expansive or hard to come by. It takes long hours of reasearch spent online looking for the perfect domain name for your business. There are alternative solutions that are still attractive but much easier to find.
If you intend to sell a product or service online, a better alternative to using your company name as a domain name is to include a keyword . For example cheapdomains.com
A more common option now days is to use hyphens. Although people are skeptical about that, search engines pick up your main keywords when using this method. For example cheap-domains.com
If you decide to go with a domain name that is your company name and chances are it’s probably taken, consider using abbreviations or adding additional words. For example: webvisiononline.com
Now days more and more domain extensions are available. There used to be only few major ones like .com, .org, .net .gov .edu
Now there are .pro .mobi .tv .info .biz and more being constantly created.
Although you should buy a few of them for your business, aim at getting a .com extension. Search engines like those a lot more. Consider getting .com .net and .org or .info, all with the same name.
