Mozilla has had a pretty good relationship with Google, but it’s gotten worse since Google introduced it’s own browser, Chrome. Mozilla’s chief executive said ”
We have a fine and reasonable relationship but I’d be lying if I said that things weren’t more complicated than they used to be.”
The biggest competition that they are facing right now is browser speed in rendering Javascript content. Microsoft, Mozilla and Google are trying hard to beat their competition and all of them claim that their browsers are the fastest. When final version of IE 8 comes out, we’ll be able to benchmark Javascript rendering and fully compare all three browsers.
